Memory Industry: Home for some Strange Bedfellows:
IoT, Wireless Sensor Networks and Big Data
Dr. KRS Murthy
Wherever there is memory, there are applications for Internet of Everything, data generated by wireless sensor networks in various infrastructures. In the same places where solar is deployed, LEDs are deployed for lighting, It is a wise business to also deploy solar panels, LEDs, wireless sensor networks (WSN) and other Internet of Everything (IOE) in those places. Similar infrastructures in energy, transportation, building, agriculture and many others have similar need for memory. A lot of data generated by these things co-deployed with LEDs, Solar, WSN and IOE could be processed by Big Data techniques.
The author discusses memory business opportunity in different vertical applications environments, synergy, technological and industry gaps and gaps in capital intensity. He also proposes solutions to each of the gaps.
The application areas discussed in the presentation include energy industry, infrastructure, automotive and other transportation industry, residential, industrial, commercial, healthcare, wellness, algae farms, precision and intelligent agriculture, horticulture and gardening.
The speaker will present novel paradigms and innovative approaches to national and international level memory industry strategies for R&D, large scale manufacturing, supply chain and distribution.
The speaker will elaborate novel memory technologies that would enable product efficiency improvements that would also simultaneously make the LEDs, wireless sensors, other internet of things and total product solution practical and economical.
